Hi there, I’m Adaline Gomez. I’m an actor and writer based in New York City. I grew up in a Liberal family of farmers turned academics who still respond with the amount of rain their town has gotten when you ask them, “how are you doing?” I’m a queer woman and I believe in the political potential of theater. Therefore, I can only hope that in the span of my career I figure out how to make meaningful and provocative art! Speaking of which, one of my greatest career goals is to play Betty #2 in Jen Silverman’s Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties.
I grew up in Dallas, Texas and moved to NYC in 2017 to study acting at the New School for Drama’s BFA program. Upon graduating in 2021, I received the Justine Carroll award from the New School for my work as a multidisciplinary artist. Since then, I've spent my time acting in numerous classical plays around the city as well as a handful of independent films and I am now a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association!
I spend my free time propagating my plants, reading books about monsters, and dancing to angry music. I like the city, but damn do I miss seeing the sky. (Update: I moved to Brooklyn two years ago and now I see the sky all the time.)
