Hi there, I’m Adaline Gomez. I’m an actor and theater maker based in New York City. I grew up in a Liberal family of farmers turned academics who still respond with the amount of rain their town has gotten when you ask them, “how are you doing?” I’m a queer woman and I believe in the political potential of theater. One of my greatest career goals is to play Betty #2 in Jen Silverman’s Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties. I've spent the last few years since graduating from The New School for Drama BFA program acting in numerous classical plays around the city as well as a handful of independent films. I am a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association!
I grew up in Dallas, Texas and moved to NYC in 2017 to study acting at the New School for Drama’s BFA program. Upon graduating, I received the Justine Carroll award from the New School for my work as a multidisciplinary artist.
I spend my free time burning granola, reading books about monsters, and dancing to angry music. I like the city, but damn do I miss seeing the sky. (Update: I moved to Brooklyn two years ago and now I see the sky all the time.)
